Sebastian Ingrosso is an electronic musician and DJ who works on progressive house and electro house. He’s one-third of Swedish House Mafia alongside Steve Angello and Axwell. Ingrosso grew up in Stockholm, Sweden where he learned to make music.He entered the music industry in 1999 upon releasing a remix though Mega Records. He continued releasing tracks, and in 2003 he established his label called Refune Music. As the years went by, he frequently collaborated with fellow Swedish producers Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, and Axwell.
The crew of friends was dubbed the Swedish House Mafia, though Prydz never officially joined the group as he did not particularly like collaborating with other producers on his music.
Before the official formation of the group, Ingrosso worked with David Guetta on the song How Soon is Now and Everytime We Touch. In 2010, Ingrosso hit the number 10 spot as a solo act on the DJ Mag poll.

In 2014 Ingrosso formed a duo with Axwell, named Axwell & Ingrosso and released their debut EP X4. The following year they released several singles and managed to hit the number 1 spot in Sweden with the song Sun is Shining. They went on to headline Tomorrowland in July 2015.
Ingrosso went on to release new solo singles in 2016, most notably FLAGS! Axwell & Ingrosso managed to score another major hit their 2017 single More Than You Know, which charted in multiple countries and sold more than 600,000 units in Germany; 500,000 units in the USA; 400,000 copies in Sweden and 200,000 copies in the UK.
That same year he performed at Tomorrowland as a solo artist as well as a duo alongside Axwell. The pair was a headliner on the main stage. Their debut studio album More Than You Know was released in December 2017 and charted in Denmark, The Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the USA.
Ingrosso uses a mix of hardware and software to create his tracks. Keyboards in his arsenal include a Roland Juno-107, Clavia Nord Lead, Teenage Engineering OP-1, Access Virus Ti2 and Akai MPK61 MIDI controller.
His production work is carried out on Apple Macs, and his primary DAW is Apple Logic Pro X which hosts his software instruments such as Native Instruments Massive, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Native Instruments Razor, reFX Nexus 2 and Native Instruments Kontakt sampler.
He uses various software effects processors such as Dada Life Sausage Fattener and the Waves Mercury bundle. Headphones he’s been known to use include the Beats by Dre Solo2, Urbanears Zinken, Sennheiser Adidas HD 25 and the Coloud Marvel Punisher headphones.
Ingrosso’s known to use the Adam Audio A7X studio monitors for some of his mixing work. On the DJ side, he uses the Mixed in Key 5 Harmonic DJ software. The Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus and Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus are used as part of his live DJ set also.
